Wellspan ReadyCare

WellSpan is pleased to introduce a new level of convenience for patients with minor health care needs.  WellSpan ReadyCare (formerly York Hospital UrgentCare) is now open at both 1101 Edgar St., and on the 2nd floor of 2250 E. Market St. (with WORKFIRST).

Our goal is to provide convenience, exceptional customer service, and value to our customers along with the high quality medical care that York County has come to expect from WellSpan.   In addition to treatment of a wide variety of minor injuries and illnesses, ReadyCare also offers limited preventive services such as sports and driver’s permit physical examinations, as well as some immunizations.

We believe that patients need a relationship with a primary care provider (PCP) to achieve and maintain optimal health.  ReadyCare will augment the care of local PCPs by offering open access seven days a week, and by sending information back to the PCP regarding the treatment provided to the patient.  And ReadyCare is not an emergency facility, so charges are significantly lower than those charged by area emergency departments.

While we hope you don’t need our services, we’re here for you, your family members and friends:
